The NanoProm Kit is a dedicated Original Xbox EEPROM recovery tool designed for reading, writing, and restoring 24C02 EEPROM data both directly on the Original Xbox motherboard via LPC connection and externally using the included 24C02 adapter.
This kit is built around a pre-programmed Arduino Nano running NanoProm firmware and provides direct access to EEPROM functionality through a simple menu-driven interface on a PC or laptop via USB.

Intended use
The NanoProm Kit is designed for real-world Original Xbox repair and recovery tasks, especially in cases involving a crashed or failed hard drive, or a damaged mainboard where access to the system EEPROM is required.
Typical uses include:
- Replacing a failed or dead hard drive by reading the original EEPROM and locking a new drive
- Recovering EEPROM data from a broken or dead motherboard to use in another Xbox
- Fixing corrupted or incorrectly flashed EEPROM data using a known good backup
- Replacing a damaged 24C02 EEPROM chip on the motherboard
- Recovering EEPROM data from a console that will not boot using LPC access
